The RHFA U-11 side has prepared for the Premier Invitational Tournament on Australia’s Gold Coast with a warm-up win against a local club team.

The U-11s won 5-2 against Ormeau Football Club to shake off the effects of an early morning flight across the Tasman Sea. Both teams are pictured (above), with Ormeau players in blue.

Goal scorers were Jesper Edwards, Brock Ironside, Noah Amerika, Arniv Naiker and Shaan Anand.

Academy coach Sammy Negash said the team would have a light day on Thursday before the tournament started on Friday.

“A huge thank you must go to Ormeau Football Club for the fixture. Well done to all players,” Negash said.
