Three days of sun, football and fun in Taupo

posted in: News, Taupo

Taupo has again played host to a successful three-day football course held by the Ricki Herbert Football Academy for keen young footballers central North Island.

About 30 players aged 8-15 gathered at Taupo’s Crown Park for the school holiday course run by the academy’s head coach, Kale Herbert, and attended on the final day by academy founder and All White legend Ricki Herbert.

The players worked hard for three days but found time to have plenty of fun as the course showed them how to develop new skills.
