The RHFA contingent of three squads – aged U-10, U-11 and U-12 – arrived in Sydney on Friday and prepared for the prestigious tournament with visits to Olympic Park, where games will be played, and the Novotel Hotel where the players will meet for dinner each night.
The tournament began with an opening ceremony at which the national anthems for Australia and New Zealand were played for the 50+ teams drawn from New South Wales, interstate and internationally.
