The partnership will help develop promising footballers at the school as well as being accessible to other locally based players.
ACG Tauranga Primary and Secondary School caters for years 1-11 with year 12 opening in 2018.
RHFA founder Ricki Herbert said he was thrilled his academy would help students as the school demonstrates a firm commitment to encouraging all-round excellence, including dynamic sports and health programmes.
The school has excellent facilities on a 14.8-hectare campus in Pyes Pa, Tauranga.
Training at the ACG Tauranga Talent Centre will begin at the start of term 2. ACG students and local players can register here for the new Talent Centre.
The Ricki Herbert Football Academy has Talent Centres across the Auckland region as well as centres in Tauranga, Cambridge, Taupo and New Plymouth.
The academy was founded in 2013 by Herbert, former coach of the All Whites and New Zealand’s only fully-professional club, the Wellington Phoenix.
Herbert also played for the All Whites and as a professional player with top English club Wolverhampton Wanderers.
