Schofield to lead goalkeeper course

Former New Zealand international goalkeeper Grant Schofield will run our weekly RHFA goalkeeping course in Auckland from January-April.

Schofield, who was coach for the New Zealand U-17 team at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, will be using his skills and experience to help goalkeepers aged 10-16.

Details of the course:

Dates: Sunday January 31, 2016 – Sunday April 10, 2016

Venue: Beachlands Domain, Auckland

Times: 10-13 years report @ 9.00am, 14-16 years report @ 9.45am

Cost: $15.00

Grant SchofieldAbout Grant Schofield

Goalkeeper coach Grant Schofield is a former New Zealand international who played national league football with Manurewa, having developed through the junior ranks at Papatoetoe FC in South Auckland. His skills and experience led to him being appointed goalkeeper coach to the NZ U-17 team that competed at the FIFA U-17 World Cup Finals in Chile in 2015. He is the RHFA’s specialist goalkeeper coach.
