Former All Whites player and coach Ricki Herbert has featured in a new radio series to mark some of New Zealand’s greatest sporting moments.

Herbert was a special guest on an episode of Radio New Zealand’s NZ Sporting History series, celebrating the 1982 All Whites qualification for the FIFA World Cup finals in Spain.

In the 27-minute programme, Herbert reminisced to host Jesse Mulligan about his experiences as a 21-year-old player who was part of the 1982 campaign and how he was able to enjoy a second World Cup finals in 2010 as the national coach.
