David Douglas is based in Hamilton and has been the goalkeeping coach at Hamilton Wanderers since 2016, working with the club’s keepers from juniors to the ISPS Handa Premiership team.
He has also helped the development of goalkeepers at St Peter’s School, Cambridge, since 2018.
He has also worked with the Solomon Islands’ national team in the lead-up to their Oceania FIFA World Cup play-off final against the All Whites in 2017 and recently worked with champion Fijian team, Ba FC, as their goalkeeping coach in the 2020 Oceania Champions League campaign in Tahiti.
Since 2016, David Douglas has also been part of INGOAL, a specialist goalkeeping coaching and development service owned by former All White ‘keeper James Bannantyne.
