Plans for the next national tour by the Ricki Herbert Football Academy will stay ‘on hold’ until there is an easing of restrictions to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
The next tour had been scheduled to start in late September, with visits to Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch, but alert level restrictions and uncertainty about travel and accommodation led to its postponement.
RHFA founder Ricki Herbert said the tour plans could easily be re-scheduled as soon as conditions change and that families and supporters will be kept updated.
The academy has been taking teams on national and international tours since 2013.
The last national tour, in mid-2021, took in games in the main centres.
