Sixty-five young players combined indoor and outdoor activities on the second day of this year’s RHFA national training camp at Taupo.
Activities included a warm down session at the local spa pools and presentations to players at Taupo FC’s clubrooms.
The Ricki Herbert Football Academy has been running its second camp to include sessions run by Dave Wright, a coach from English club Fulham FC.
The three-day camp at Crown Park gives players the chance to develop their football skills but also to understand how to conduct themselves off the pitch. They are being accommodated at the De Bretts Spa Resort, ensuring they learn to work and socialise together in the best possible environments, on and off the pitch.
