Boys and girls benefit from Northland course in Kamo

More than 30 young footballers have been getting the benefit of working and playing together for three days in Kamo, thanks to the Ricki Herbert Football Academy. 

The boys and girls from Northland have been enjoying a school holiday programme under the guidance of RHFA coach Sam Negash. 

Sam said all the participants had enjoyed themselves and he wanted to thank the Kamo club, and particularly President Chas Flower, for hosting the academy visit.

Players had undertaken a beep test to challenge their fitness and Sam said he wanted to congratulate the following players:

Juniors 

Leo – 6.2

Lance – 7.3

Elliot – 8.2

Faith – 6

Aiden – 6

Senior group

Reef- 8.7

Joe – 8.11

Riley – 9.6

Zavier- 10.5

Tynan- 10.4
