The Ricki Herbert Football Academy’s U-14 team have scored a 5-2 win against Queensland club Ormeau as part of their preparation for this week’s Premier Invitational Tournament.

As the academy’s U-11 squad set off for home after a successful trip to the Gold Coast, the U-14s are preparing for their own section of the tournament in which they will play sides from all parts of Australia.

In their annual friendly against Ormeau, the academy ran out winners with goals from Campbell Brown (4) and Mason Mouat. Both teams are pictured (above) at the Ormeau club.

The team has also enjoyed a workout playing beach football in glorious sun – significantly better weather than the players left behind!
