Academy tour of Australia’s Gold Coast ends on high note

The tour of Australia’s Gold Coast by the Ricki Herbert Football Academy has finished on a high note with two wins and the presentation of player awards.

The two sides fielded by the academy won both their final games, against Ormeau FC.

The RHFA thanks all the players for their effort and enthusiasm on the tour, and appreciates the support and encouragement of families and supporters who made the tour possible.

End of tour awards were made by the coaching staff as the players prepared for their trip home to New Zealand.

Individual awards went to:

U-10’s Most Valuable Player: Jaxson Makgill

U-10’s Players’ Player of the Tour: Connor Lovelock

U-11’s Most Valuable Player: Samual Van der Klift

U-11s Players’ Player of the Tour: Ryley Burgess

Clive Herbert Award: Koopah Singh
