The Ricki Herbert Football Academy has confirmed a partnership with St Paul’s Collegiate School, Hamilton.

The school will host the academy’s next national camp, to be held January 18-21, 2021, and RHFA Technical Director Kale Herbert will continue as the school’s Director of Football.

Kale Herbert coached the St Paul’s first XI in 2020.

The Herberts said they would base their academy office at St Paul’s where they feel the school is a positive fit for the RHFA brand.

“Our synergies align well with the families at St Paul’s and our goal is to provide an inclusive academy for those wanting to better themselves at football. We couldn’t think of a better place to do this than at St Paul’s,” former All Whites coach Ricki Herbert said.

Kale Herbert said the national camp would make the most of the excellent St Paul’s facilities.

“This is an awesome opportunity for young athletes to learn some football skills in preparation for their upcoming season,” he said.

St Paul’s Headmaster Grant Lander was thrilled to welcome the pair to the school.

“It’s exciting to have Ricki and Kale at St Paul’s. They will be able to help develop our footballers, and other footballers in the region through their academy.

“The Herbert’s have an impressive reputation in the sport of football, and it’s an amazing opportunity for our families, and families within the wider community, to gain exposure from people with this sort of skill set and knowledge of the game.”
