Meet Ricki Herbert

Ricki has lived a life in football, from representing New Zealand in the FIFA World Cup as a player and coach, to now guiding future talents at RH3. His philosophy is simple: provide high-quality, accessible training for all.

Ricki's hands-on approach and vast experience are at the core of our academy, ensuring every player gets the opportunity to grow, both in skill and character.

Our son is in a safe, secure environment and is thriving

Our son was an inaugural academy player to join the Clive House residential Academy in 2023. He is now in his second year at the residential house. His first year was amazing, the way he settled in, the way he loved the footballing environment, and in general the Cambridge environment.
Moving to a new area, a new school, and a new football club, he took it in his stride. He was made to feel at home with every aspect. As parents living so far away, it is reassuring to know our son is in a safe, secure environment and is thriving. Not just as a footballer, but as a young man in the RH3 environment.

A wonderful experience for my son and me

JUST WANTED to say thanks a lot to The Ricki Herbert Football Academy for organising such a great soccer tour to Dallas and Houston. It was great to see the boys had lots of games organised and played with such great teams all around in a short space of time. The high level of soccer displayed and experience for our boys was outstanding. As the tour began and the boys started to know each other better both on and off the field, this led to better teamwork and performance on the field.

Josh has really enjoyed being part of this programme and is very keen to continue next year.
It has been an awesome challenge for him. He's had to dig deep at times and work on his resilience and is learning a lot from the older boys.
