National camp set to get underway in early October

This year’s National Camp for Ricki Herbert Football Academy players will be held at St Peter’s, Cambridge, in early October.

The camp runs from Tuesday October 2 till Friday October 5.

Players will train at the school and will be accommodated in its dormitories.

As well as outdoor coaching sessions in age-specific groups, the players will go undergo strength and conditioning testing, making use of on-site facilities.

All attending players will be eligible for RHFA International Tours.

RHFA founder Ricki Herbert will also be considering candidates suitable to attend a three-week training camp at Fulham Football Club in the United Kingdom.

Players from the past two RHFA National Camps have been sent to London to training with Fulham’s academy.

Last year, Albie Francis-Alles said he felt honoured to attend the Fulham academy.

The first RHFA player to visit Fulham was Tauranga’s Mirko Brinkmann.
