RHFA win U-13s age group at Sydney Youth Cup

The RHFA U-13s will return from Australia as the age group champions of this year’s Sydney Youth Cup. The U-13s won their final 4-2 against AYFI with goals from Scott Manning (2), Arnav Naiker and Cameron Smith. It meant the team went through the four-day tournament unbeaten. Meanwhile, the U-12s fought hard in their play-off for 3rd/4th in their age group but lost 2-0 to finish in fourth spot. The matches ended a superb week of football for the three RHFA squads on tour. All teams returned to Olympic Park for presentations. The RHFA thanks the Guildford Leagues club for their wonderful hospitality during the week, and for a fantastic steak dinner for the touring squad as they ended the tournament. To all the players, the coaching staff would like to congratulate them all on their professional and respectful behaviour both on and off the field during the tour. We have received many positive remarks from not only opposition coaches but local parents and supporters. Well done.
