Cambridge youngsters making most of course

Boys and girls have been making the most of their three-day youth course run by the Ricki Herbert Football Academy at Cambridge.

The course is enabling 65 players aged 8-15 to develop their footballing skills, make friends and have plenty of fun, one of nine courses throughout the country run by RHFA during the July school holidays.

Academy f0under Ricki Herbert said he was grateful to a number of businesses for their sponsorship support of players who were attending the Cambridge course at John Kerkhof Park. He specifically wanted to thank:

  • Murray Deans from Deans Associates, Chartered Accountants, Kapiti Coast.
  • Kevin and Jane from the Gladstone Trust, Cambridge
  • Johann from the Panache French Bakery and The Deli on the Corner Cafe, Cambridge

“It is great to see local businesses providing children in the local community opportunities to attend a sporting programme such as this,” Herbert said.
